Entity culling - don't render entities that are not visible.
Block face culling - only render visible block sides.
Particle culling - don't render particles that are not visible.
Textures animation culling - don't animate textures that are not visible.
Well this is not culling but still cool for fps...
pre-render frames on CPU before they get outputted be GPU.
Also, there is mod called MCMT that... multithreads Minecraft... idk if it's possible to add this feature in badlion but it would be nice if multithreading would be added.
This will result in much greater fps.
