Required accounts to be able to use Badlion Client
To use Badlion Client, you need to have a Badlion Client account and a paid (premium) Java Edition Minecraft account linked to Microsoft. In this help article, we will explain how you can sign in using these accounts to be able to use Badlion Client:
- Signing in to the launcher using a Badlion Client account
- Adding Java Edition Minecraft accounts in the launcher
- Adding Java Edition Minecraft accounts through the in-game account switcher
Signing in to the launcher using a Badlion Client account
The first account you need to have to be able to use Badlion Client is a Badlion Client account. If you do not have a Badlion Client account, you can create it by following the instructions given in this help article: click here.
If you already have a Badlion Client account or just have registered it, open the Badlion Client launcher and click the login button at the top right corner of the launcher. You will see this login window:
Make sure to write your Badlion Client account login information, not Minecraft. Badlion and Minecraft accounts are not the same things.
Adding Java Edition Minecraft accounts
The Badlion Client launcher does not detect any Minecraft account from other Minecraft launchers. To add a Minecraft account on Badlion Client, locate the Minecraft account selector above the "launch" button, and click on "No alts".
If you already have a Minecraft account added to the launcher and want to add another one, you need to open the Minecraft account selector and click the "Add Account" button.
Once you click on it, select the Microsoft login method and write the login information of your Microsoft account to which you have linked your Java Edition Minecraft account.
Adding Java Edition Minecraft accounts through the in-game account switcher
If you do not want to close the game to be able to switch or add your Minecraft accounts, you can use the in-game account switcher located at the top right corner of the main menu.
If you want to add a new Minecraft account, click on the Minecraft account switcher and click the "Add Account" button, as shown in the screenshot below.
