Basics
Item Counter is a mod that allows you to count the number of select items in your inventory, splitting them into different sections so you can have them organized.
Result
Enabling The Mod
In order to enable the Item Counter mod, you will need to do the following:
- Open the mods menu by clicking the key you've set for it. The default keybind is Right Shift.
- Search for "Item Counter" in the search box and enable the first mod that appears using the toggle.
Modification Usage
It's really simple! Once you have enabled it, you will be able to see the items below near your Hotbar:
- Arrow
- Potion
- Food
- Golden Apple
- God Apple
- Soup
To change the items displayed, simply click on the mod to open the settings, then follow these instructions for the action you would like to perform.
- If you would like to add an item, click “Add Item counter”.
- To edit the item you just added or other pre-existing items, click on the gear icon.
- Hold the item you would like to add/change the item to and click “Use held item”. You can also manually type the item name and meta value if you can not hold the item.
- To delete an item, click on the trash icon.
- To temporarily hide an item, unselect the check-box next to the trash icon.
Additional Item Settings
To adjust addition item settings, click the gear icon next to the trash can. You will then be able to adjust the following item settings.
Hide When No Items
- When toggled, it’ll hide the item from the item counter if it is not in the inventory.
Override Graphics Settings
- When toggled, it allows the user to edit the background color, text color, text shadow, and font of the item count display.
Override Graphics Settings: Background color
- To enable a background for the item count display, click the checkbox next to the grey rectangle, you can then adjust the color and transparency by clicking on the grey rectangle.
Override Graphics Settings: Text Color
- By clicking the white box, you can change the color of the counter text.
Override Graphics Settings: Text Shadow
- By toggling text-shadow, you can enable whether a shadow outlines the counter text.
Override Graphics Settings: Badlion Font
- Toggling Badlion font allows you to enable whether the Badlion font is used for the counter text.
General Modification Settings
You are able to adjust the following settings by clicking on the modification in the modification menu.
Text Shadow
- By toggling text-shadow, you can enable whether a shadow outlines the counter text.
Border Width
- Adjusts the width of the border around item counters. You must have the setting “Border” enabled for this to do anything.
Background color
- To enable a background for the item counters, click the check box next to the grey rectangle, you can then adjust the color and transparency by clicking on the grey rectangle.
Text
- By clicking the white box next to “text”, you can change the color of the counter text.
Border
- To enable a border for the item counters, click the check box. You can then adjust the color and transparency by clicking on the white rectangle.
Advanced Modification Settings
You are able to adjust the following settings by clicking on the modification in the modification menu then clicking “Show Advanced Settings”.
Badlion Font
Without Badlion Font:
With Badlion Font:
- By toggling badlion font, you can enable whether the badlion font is used for the counter text.
Lock Counters
- When enabled, counters will move as one when adjusting the GUI.
Hide in F3
- Enabling this setting will hide the mod when you press F3.
